Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow releasing on the 3DS Virtual Console

With the 20th Anniversary of Pokémon being next year, there is going to be an expected number of surprises, and this is the first!

Nintendo is releasing Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console early next year!

The games are being released on February 27 2016, which is when Pokémon Red and Green were first released in Japan back in 1996, a whole 20 years ago.

A big nostalgia trip for those who played the originals, and now the games will support wireless trading to emulate the unforgettable link cable! This means players will be able to locally trade and battle which will be quite interesting.

  1. how much is the game in the game in the e-shop?

    • The price isn’t confirmed yet, but I’d estimate around $10 -> $20AUD based on how much other similar titles are going for on the eshop.
